Appointments

Older Adult Psychology is a private billing practice.

Individual psychotherapy sessions are usually an hour in duration.  Sessions can occur face to face or via video telehealth or over the telephone. The standard fee for a session is $240.  Please speak with Paula to discuss scaled fee options if you are on an aged pension or undergoing significant financial hardship. Fees are payable at the time of your consultation by credit card, debit card, cash or direct transfer.

Couples Therapy Sessions are largely informed by the Gottman Method Couples Therapy, which is an evidence based approach built on more than 40 years of research.  The Gottman Method provides a platform for couples to gain a better understanding of each other, manage conflicts, learn new skills, strategies and behaviours to build a more meaningful, connected and fulfilling relationship.  The standard fee for sessions per hour is $320. Please contact Paula to discuss the process of engaging in Couples Therapy.

Medicare rebates are available through the Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative. This initiative offers a rebate of $141.85 per session for up to 10 clinical psychology sessions per calendar year if you have a valid referral from your GP or Psychiatrist. Medicare rebates are processed electronically on the day. Medicare rebates are not available for Couples Therapy.
